Lita Rossana Ford popularly known as Lita Ford is a British American guitarist vocalist and songwriter who was the lead guitarist in the all-girl hard rock group The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their music and their rebellious lyrics made them popular in the rock world. The band was never able to The Runaways to become popular in America, however they did gain a fair amount of acclaim in other nations, especially Japan.
