Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress who is best well-known for her character Margo in 'The Magicians' which is a Syfy television series of fantasy and drama that ran until the year 2015. She had previously gained recognition in the role of the 13-year-old girl from Lebanon, Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing turbulent personal struggles against set against the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead'. The film was later selected by one of 'Variety's 10 Actors to Watch' in 2007. In the 2009 movie Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. In addition, she was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award category for "Best Female Lead". As well as starring in several movies, such as Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake, she's appeared as an actor in a variety of television shows and has appeared in recurring roles in numerous other films.
