Hayley Orrantia, an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Most people recognise her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. She is, however, musician. She says that music was always her first love. When she was 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough, that she started professionally trained. At the age of 13 when she began writing her own songs. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until 14 years after. It has been non-stop ever since. Orrantia is a native of America, but has Hispanic ancestry. She's proud of her reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots even though she was raised using English only, and did not live in Mexico. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she strives to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte," a track that she wrote in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia won the first season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded an impressive four "yes" vote from the judge during the live stage audition in Seattle. Though she initially auditioned on her own at "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three female performers were placed in a group for the rest of auditions. They were eliminated from the show in the fifth live week.
